Kirk and Mike This episode was kind of all over the place, but here are the important questions the guys tried to answer in their ridiculous guy ways. Why are guys intimidated by women with serious money? Wait a second, are guys in fact intimidated by powerful women? Second banana anyone? Mom, are you in the relationship? Do guys really need their girlfriend or wife to mother them… or is that just the girl’s perspective? Then, the guys really expose their deepest shallow side with a wacky discussion of exactly how sexy little people can be. Oh yeah, and girls… make sure you check out Kirk’s special tip about the best way to protect yourself at night! Special thanks to our “Ask A Guy girls Tina, Debbie, and Shelby. Sun, 9 September 2007 Please go to the real site here. Kirk is ga-ga over a new musician, Eleni Mandell. She’s a torchy, lounge singer who seems to come from some by-gone era. Her lyrics feels country, yet her music ranges from ethereal to bouncy 40’s pop. And she just recorded two new songs in French, so Kirk is doubly happy! Oui, Oui. Girls, take a seat, this is the MUST episode about fashion! What is the sexiest outfit a woman can wear (and no, we don’t just mean lingerie)? But seriously, do guys really like the slutty look or are they actually attracted to more conservative girls? What outfits really turn guys off in a hurry? What tops do all men hate? What’s the secret footwear that is a guaranteed aphrodisiac for every man? Do guys like when a woman dresses up like call girl? What about a hooker? Starting from the top with hats, the guys work their way down every stitch of the wardrobe all the way down to the pointy tip of the pumps. Scarfs anyone? Shoulder-Length gloves? high leather boots? You gotta tune in for the whole dope.. Plus, they drop all kinds of great advice about outfits for pregnant women. This episode is sponsored by "Percy Gloom" a new graphic novel by Cathy Malkasian. The female studio guest from episode 8, Sloan Taylor, actually ending up getting a tattoo shortly after appearing in the… er… studio. (see Episode 6 show notes for photo). Show 9 is packed with craziness. Mike gets hot and bothered trying to explain to Kirk why mud wrestling is about as close to Nirvana as humans can get. Right. Could every relationship benefit from a good romp in the mud? Women in distress! Kirk takes a little trip on the subway to spend the day at jury duty for the L.A. superior court. And boy, he comes across some very interesting females who have him raising quite an eyebrow. Women’s physical flaws: Are certain women’s imperfections actually a turn-on? Do guys care about pedicures on women? Could a zit end a relationship? It’s seems gross, but this is a serious topic for the guys. Well… maybe not that serious. What do men think about pock marks? Moles? Mike takes absurdity to a new level when he talks about his ultimate deal-breaker in a relationship with a woman. And you have GOT to hear this with your own ears! Episode 008: A real girl in the studio! Men and Women at the office. Do guys like tattoos? This episode covers a lot of ground, touching on relationships, sex, body art, sexual harassment, and lots of laughs. Mike and Kirk traded the "Ask A Guy" segment for a whole show featuring a real live girl guest. Sloan Taylor, just a girl living in the world, joins the boys to single-handedly represent her sisterhood. But actually, it kind of seems like the two single folks ganging up on the poor married guy. Having recently been dumped on myspace by her boyfriend, she is full of vim on the subject of working with men and their one-track minds. And Sloan just loves climbing up a tall ladder wearing a short skirt! Later in the show, Mike asks her the age old question "Does size matter?" Kirk is really surprised by her answer. And how naive is Kirk that he thinks a stripper and a hooker are the same thing? Also, how much grooming should guys do? Do hairy chests turn women on... or off? What about back hair? And finally, do guys appreciate a tattoo on a woman? What about 100 tattoos? Do women appreciate guys with ink? What about when the relationship ends? Piercings and nose rings anyone? In fact, right after this show was recorded, Sloan went down to get her very first tattoo! The guys will be back next week with a regular show where they can really talk freely between themselves without having to be on their best behavior. Mike’s former girlfriend has a serious problem: Halitosis! But damn she is so cute otherwise. Or is she? It turns out that the horror is actually emanating from her very soul. Can you say relationship killer? Kirk reveals an unbelievable secret about past one night stands. And his cosmopolitan pen pal girl “friend from Philadelphia ends up actually questioning his manlihood. Mr. Johnson? What’s the perfect romantic weekend get-away? Do guys have a single romantic bone in their bodies? Is Mike flying to Paris for a little romance? In our “Ask A Guy segment, Kristen wonders… when a relationship starts out, is a girl considered loose if she invites the guy to her house to spend the night, or should she go to his house? And what’s with bad kissers? Do guys even care about kissing, bad or otherwise? Program note: Mike will be in Chicago next week, so the episode 6 will be delayed by about a week. We hope you will be patient. It’s likely that his trip will bring plenty of juicy new fodder that is worth the wait. We are also having our shows transcribed and hope to have them online in the next couple weeks. Yikes! It’s going to be scary to see it all in black and white.
